Top Chef (Session 1 - Week1)

Students are learning a variety of cooking methods and they are gaining confidence using a knife. We started off with how to work safely in the kitchen. Discussed sanitation requirements. Then moved into some “real deal” cooking. We made a puff pastry quiche Loraine with Gruyere cheese and smoked bacon. Then, a variety of fresh fruit smoothies.




In the photos, fresh chunky guacamole used as an ingredient in a Monterey Chicken Wrap.
